Anna Daan for Akshaya Tritiya - 19th April 2026
On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) came together in the true spirit of giving and सेवा (seva).
In collaboration with Anchor Foundation, we distributed meals outside Tata Hospital to families of cancer patients. This initiative was not just about providing food—it was about offering comfort, care, and a sense of support to those going through challenging times.
Moments like these remind us that even small acts of kindness can bring warmth and hope where it is needed the most.
Breast Cancer Thermal Screening Camp - 16th April 2026
A small step can often lead to a life-changing difference!
On 16th April 2026, USCA organized a Breast Cancer Thermal Screening Camp at SB Somani Garden, Cuffe Parade bringing together awareness, accessibility, and preventive healthcare under one initiative.
Conducted in association with Rotary Club of Bombay Pier and Nana Palkar Smruti Samiti, the camp aimed to encourage early detection and promote proactive health practices among women.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners and all participants who contributed to making this initiative meaningful and impactful.
Pre-loved Clothes Donation Drive - 27th March 2026
The United Sindhi Cultural Association collaborated with Khubadadi Amil Panchayat (KAP) to organise a pre-loved clothes donation drive on 27th and 28th March 2026.
A large collection of pre-loved clothes was received through the generous support of the community. We are grateful to Jhulelal Mandir Trust for providing the temple premises at Cuffe Parade as the collection point and supporting the initiative.
The collected clothes were distributed to Sindhi Youth Circle in Ulhasnagar on 11th May 2026.
We sincerely thank everyone who contributed and supported this meaningful community effort.
Women's Day - 8th March 2026
On the occasion of Women’s Day, the United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA), in collaboration with Rachna’s Fun Club Foundation, organised a hygiene and care initiative for women inmates at Byculla Women’s Prison, Mumbai.
As part of the initiative, 150 hygiene kits containing essential daily-care items were distributed to support the health, hygiene, and well-being of incarcerated women. The kits included sanitary napkins, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, oil, shampoo sachets, combs, talcum powder, Vaseline, handkerchiefs, and pouches.
Through this initiative, USCA aimed to spread care, dignity, and support to women who are often overlooked, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to meaningful community service and social responsibility.
Spreading Joy with Vatsalya Foundation - 14th February 2026
While February 14th is celebrated by many as Valentine’s Day, for Vatsalya Foundation, it is the most special day of the year. The Foundation celebrates the birthdays of over 200 children across all its centres on this occasion — children who are abandoned or come from difficult and broken family backgrounds. Through its constant care, support, and nurturing environment, the Foundation strives to give these children a safe, happy, and meaningful childhood.
This year, the United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) was honoured to be a part of these celebrations by contributing gifts and snacks for all the children. It was a small gesture aimed at bringing smiles, warmth, and joy to their special day.
At USCA, we believe that every child deserves love, care, and moments of happiness. Being able to contribute to such a meaningful initiative was truly heartwarming, and we remain committed to supporting causes that uplift and empower communities with compassion and kindness.
Food Donation Drive at KEM Hospital - 24th January 2026
Serving with Compassion and Community Spirit!
The United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA), in collaboration with the Anchor Foundation, organised a food donation drive at KEM Hospital as part of its continued commitment towards community service and social responsibility.
The initiative was dedicated to supporting patients and families courageously battling cancer, many of whom spend long hours at the hospital while undergoing treatment and caregiving. Through the distribution of meals, the drive aimed to offer not only nourishment, but also comfort, care, and a sense of support during difficult times.
The experience served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of compassion, kindness, and collective action. Even small acts of service have the power to bring warmth and hope to those who need it most.
USCA remains grateful for the opportunity to contribute towards a cause that touches so many lives and continues to believe in creating impact through community-driven initiatives rooted in empathy and humanity.
Multivitamin, Nutrition & Healthcare Support – October 2025
In October 2025, USCA partnered with Indian Relief Foundation for a meaningful sponsorship and collection drive dedicated to supporting children and families from underserved communities in Kalyan and surrounding areas.
Through this initiative, sponsored children received nutritional supplements for a year, regular health check-ups, and continued medical support and follow-up care. Going a step further, USCA also committed to supporting the needs of each child’s mother — believing that caring for a mother strengthens the well-being of the entire family.
This initiative reflected the spirit of compassion, care, and community support, with every contribution helping create a healthier and more hopeful future for many families.
USCA is deeply grateful to everyone who contributed and supported this meaningful cause.
Old Clothes Drive - 20th November 2024
The United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) successfully conducted an Old Clothes Collection Drive from 20th November 2024 till 20th December 2024, with generous contributions from across Mumbai. The donated items were distributed to those in need in and around Ulhasnagar, in collaboration with Shri Baba Balakram Mandir S. Trust, a registered organization serving the community since 1978.
We thank all donors and partners for their support. USCA remains committed to organizing meaningful initiatives that promote compassion and community welfare.
Old Age Home - Swami Shanti Prakash
Cataract Eye Camp in Ulhasnagar - 5th October 2024
On 5th October 2024, USCA, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Mumbai – Bandra-Khar Branch, hosted a Free Cataract Eye Camp at Sanjeevani Eye Hospital, Ulhasnagar, as part of the Lions’ Sight First initiative.
We are grateful to share that the camp saw a wonderful turnout and was met with heartfelt appreciation from the local community. All patients diagnosed with cataracts underwent successful surgeries, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Dr. Balani and his medical team.
This initiative was made possible through the generous support of the Lions Club of Mumbai – Bandra-Khar Branch, who sponsored the surgeries in full. It was a deeply fulfilling experience for everyone involved and a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make when communities come together with compassion and care.
