World Sindhi Language Day Celebration - 10th April 2026
On 10th April, as we marked World Sindhi Language Day, the evening unfolded into something truly special—an experience filled with warmth, connection, and a shared love for our language.
At USCA, the celebration was not just about remembering Sindhi, but about living it. From laughter-filled moments during Sindhi Bingo to fun English-to-Sindhi word exchanges, the room was alive with energy and participation.
One of the most heartening highlights was watching our Sindhi students take centre stage—speaking the language with growing confidence and ease. Their enthusiasm was a reminder that when a language is passed on with love, it continues to thrive.
It was more than just an event—it was a celebration of identity, of roots, and of a community coming together to keep its language alive.

Celebrating Sindhi New Year, Heritage & Community - 14th March 2026
On 14th March 2026, the United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) came together at the iconic Radio Club Pier to celebrate Cheti Chand Jo Melo 2026 — a heartfelt evening dedicated to Sindhi New Year, culture, faith, and community spirit.
The celebrations commenced with the sacred Bharana Sahib Pooja, invoking blessings and honouring the spiritual traditions that continue to connect generations of Sindhis across the world.
Adding depth and meaning to the evening was a special visual showcase presented in collaboration with the Sindhi Culture Foundation, featuring The Lost Homeland of Sindh from the Partition Museum. Through powerful stories, memories, and archival visuals, the exhibit reflected the journey, resilience, and enduring spirit of Sindhi Hindus during the 1947 Partition — reminding us of the roots and legacy that continue to shape our identity today.
A thoughtfully curated Sindhi Spotlight segment, led by Shakun Kimatrai, brought together meaningful conversations around Sindhi customs, traditions, identity, and modern-day representation. The interactive discussions highlighted voices from different generations and celebrated individuals proudly carrying Sindhi culture forward in today’s world.
The cultural spirit of the evening came alive through traditional Sindhi ladas, soulful Sindhi music, and a special performance by Kamlesh Kapoor, creating an atmosphere filled with nostalgia, pride, and celebration.
Guests also enjoyed a vibrant showcase of Sindhi cuisine, community-led stalls, and interactive experiences that encouraged connection and togetherness across all age groups.
One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the felicitation of eight distinguished Sindhi achievers from diverse fields including entrepreneurship, law, culture, social impact, sports, and digital storytelling. Their inspiring journeys reflected dedication, resilience, and a deep sense of pride in the Sindhi community.
Cheti Chand Jo Melo 2026 was more than a celebration — it was a tribute to our heritage, a celebration of our collective identity, and a reminder of the importance of preserving and passing on Sindhi culture to future generations. Through faith, stories, music, and shared experiences, the evening beautifully captured the spirit of unity that defines our community.
Sindhi Breakfast Food Walk at Chembur Camp - 22nd February 2026
A Journey Through Flavours, Stories & Sindhi Heritage!
The Sindhi Camp Breakfast Walk was a delightful morning filled with food, nostalgia, history, and community spirit — bringing together participants for an immersive experience through one of Mumbai’s most culturally rich neighbourhoods.
From iconic Sindhi breakfast favourites to hidden local gems, the trail celebrated the flavours and traditions that continue to define the Sindhi community. Participants explored the vibrant lanes and historic barracks of the Sindhi Camp area while discovering the stories, memories, and cultural significance woven into the locality.
The walk featured stops at some of the community’s most loved food spots and specialties, including the famous Punjab Sind Paneer, flavourful dal pakwan and chole pattice at Vig, Sattus sev barfi, the iconic Jitu’s dal sandwich, delicious kulchas at Sainath, and the much-loved gulab jamuns from Jhama.
A special highlight of the morning was the insightful storytelling led by historian Riddhi Joshi, who beautifully brought the history of Sindhi Camp alive through engaging anecdotes and lesser-known narratives about the area, its people, and its evolution over the years.
More than just a food trail, the walk became a meaningful celebration of Sindhi heritage, shared memories, and community connection. The enthusiasm, warmth, and participation of everyone present made the experience truly memorable.
The Sindhi Camp Breakfast Walk was a reminder that culture is not only preserved through history books, but also through flavours, conversations, and the stories passed from one generation to another.
Maha Shivaratri - 15th February 2026
The Federation of Cuffe Parade, in collaboration with the United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) came together to create a beautiful and spiritually uplifting celebration on the sacred occasion of Maha Shivaratri 2026.
The evening was filled with devotion, positive energy, and a deep sense of togetherness as devotees gathered to offer prayers and immerse themselves in the divine vibrations of Lord Shiva. Through soulful chants, spiritual moments, and collective faith, the event created an atmosphere of peace, devotion, and inner connection.
It was truly a memorable experience where the community united to celebrate the essence of Maha Shivaratri and experience the powerful presence of Shiva energy.
Discovering Sindhi Stories across South Mumbai - 8th February 2026
On Sunday, 8th February 2026, the United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) hosted its first-ever Sindhi Car Treasure Hunt across South Mumbai — a unique experience that brought together culture, community, food, and exploration in an engaging and memorable way.
Beginning at Nariman Point, participants drove through the iconic streets of South Mumbai, solving clues and uncovering Sindhi-origin landmarks, businesses, and stories woven into the city’s rich cultural landscape. The event offered a fresh and interactive way to reconnect with Sindhi heritage while celebrating the community’s contribution to Mumbai’s identity.
The morning began with specially curated Sindhi breakfast boxes by Moreish, along with food vouchers from World of Palates for all participants. Winning teams were also awarded exciting dining vouchers from OOR, adding to the spirit of fun and celebration.
More than just a treasure hunt, the event became a meaningful morning of teamwork, storytelling, discovery, and shared community pride. Teams participated with incredible enthusiasm, warmth, and sporting spirit, making the experience truly memorable for everyone involved.
As USCA’s first Sindhi Treasure Hunt in South Mumbai, the event marked an exciting step towards creating innovative cultural experiences that connect younger generations with Sindhi history and identity in engaging and contemporary ways.
The overwhelming response, energy, and support from the community made the day unforgettable — leaving us grateful, inspired, and excited for many more such experiences in the future.
Guru Nanak Jayanti Celebration - November 2025
In November 2025, USCA celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti with devotion, togetherness, and the true spirit of Sewa, bringing the community together for a deeply meaningful and joyous occasion.
The celebrations began early in the morning with a Prabhat Pheri from Cuffe Parade to Radio Club, Colaba. Devotees came together singing hymns and remembering the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, filling the atmosphere with faith, positivity, and unity.
During the procession, participants were warmly welcomed at Vaswani Garden Building for tea and refreshments. The Prabhat Pheri then continued to Issardas Darbar, Colaba, where an Ardas was offered, and breakfast was lovingly served by Issardas Darbar to everyone who participated in the Prabhat Pheri.
The celebrations concluded at Radio Club, Colaba, with a soulful Gurbani Kirtan that brought peace, devotion, and a sense of spiritual connection to all present. This was followed by one of the largest Langar Sevas organised in South Mumbai, where people from all walks of life came together to share a meal prepared and served with love, humility, and equality.
The entire day beautifully reflected the values taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji — compassion, unity, gratitude, and selfless service. USCA is deeply grateful to all the volunteers, supporters, and members of the community whose love and contribution made this celebration truly special and memorable.
Sindhi Supper Club - September 2025
USCA proudly introduced its very first Sindhi Supper Club, a unique evening bringing people together through Sindhi food, culture, and conversations.
The evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness as guests enjoyed a beautifully curated 7-course Sindhi menu with a modern touch by Reshma Sanghi. Every dish celebrated the rich flavours and traditions of Sindhi cuisine in a fresh and contemporary way.
More than just a dinner, the Supper Club was a beautiful community experience where people connected, shared stories, and celebrated Sindhi heritage together.
And this was just the beginning. Many more such cultural experiences and gatherings are on the way!
Sindhi Sunday Breakfast at Earth Café - 21st September 2025
USCA × Earth Café came together to celebrate the warmth and richness of a traditional Sindhi breakfast experience. Guests enjoyed a soulful spread featuring Dal Pakwan, Koki, and Seyun Patata — thoughtfully presented in a contemporary style while staying true to their traditional flavors.
From nostalgic tastes to cozy café conversations, the event brought together culture, community, and comfort over a beautiful Sunday morning, creating memorable moments for every Sindhi food lover.
Teej Thadri Celebration - August 2025
The United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) successfully hosted its much-awaited Teej Thadri Celebration 2025 at Cafe 145, Bandra, bringing together members of the Sindhi community for an evening filled with culture, tradition, music, and celebration.
Following the tremendous response to the previous year’s celebration in South Mumbai, the Bandra edition marked another memorable chapter for USCA, blending traditional Sindhi festivities with a contemporary festive experience.
The celebration featured a traditional Thadri Pooja honouring Sindhi customs and heritage, along with vibrant mehendi experiences, curated festive pop-ups, and a specially designed high tea with appetisers. Guests also enjoyed a lively stand-up comedy performance by Bhavish Ailani, creating an evening filled with laughter, warmth, and community spirit.
The event brought together women and families from across the city in an atmosphere of joy, togetherness, and cultural pride. With music, festive décor, handpicked stalls, and interactive experiences, the celebration reflected USCA’s continued commitment to preserving and promoting Sindhi traditions in a modern and engaging manner.
Sindhi Pahakas – Circle Series by USCA - July 2025
The United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) proudly launched its new Circle Series with the very first edition of Sindhi Pahakas — an evening dedicated to storytelling, connection, culture, and community spirit.
The session featured heartfelt Pahakas by Shakun Kimatrai, which reflected the values, emotions, and traditions that continue to shape the Sindhi community across generations.
What made the evening truly special was the warmth shared within the room — meaningful interactions, laughter, nostalgia, and the coming together of people connected by their roots and heritage. The gathering concluded with soulful Sindhi songs that created a memorable and emotional end to the evening.
Through the Circle Series, USCA aims to create intimate community experiences that celebrate Sindhi culture, preserve traditions, and encourage deeper conversations between generations.
Sindhi Pahakas marked the beginning of many such enriching gatherings, bringing people together to celebrate identity, memories, and the spirit of togetherness.
Financial Literacy Session by USCA - 28th June 2025
The United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA), in collaboration with Sapient Wealth, successfully hosted its first-ever Financial Literacy Session – Invest Well, Live Well, at Malabar Hill Club.
The event brought together members of the community for an insightful and engaging evening focused on simplifying the world of investing and financial planning. The session aimed to make financial literacy more approachable and practical for individuals looking to build long-term financial security and smarter money habits.
Attendees gained valuable insights into topics such as smart asset allocation, disciplined investing, tax-efficient strategies, systematic withdrawal methods, and the importance of creating sustainable, generational wealth. The interactive format encouraged meaningful discussions and helped simplify many common misconceptions around investing and market timing.
The evening concluded with networking over high tea, creating a wonderful atmosphere for learning, conversation, and community bonding.
Through initiatives like these, USCA continues to create platforms that empower the community not only culturally, but also through knowledge-sharing, education, and meaningful conversations that contribute towards personal and collective growth.
Cheti Chand 2025 – A Beautiful Celebration of Sindhi Culture!
USCA’s Cheti Chand 2025 was a grand and joyful evening in South Mumbai, bringing together the Sindhi community for a night to remember!
The event began with the sacred Bharano Sahib, followed by beautiful Sindhi songs by Kavita Lakhani, energetic dances by Sindhi Sakha Sangam, and a special act by the talented Shivani Vaswani.
We also proudly felicitated dynamic Sindhis for their outstanding work in various fields.
Guests enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes at the Sindhi Food Festival, and shopped at lively lifestyle stalls featuring fashion, art, and more.
With free entry and open to all, the evening was filled with culture, laughter, and community spirit.

Cyber Security Awareness Workshop - 8th February 2025
The United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) proudly hosted an impactful Cyber Security Awareness Workshop on 8th February 2025 at World of Palates, CR2 Mall, Nariman Point.
In an era where cyber threats are growing more sophisticated by the day, this workshop aimed to educate and empower attendees with practical knowledge to protect themselves in the digital world.
We were honoured to welcome Mr. Yashasvi Yadav, Special Inspector General of Police, Maharashtra Cyber Department, as the keynote speaker. With his vast expertise in cybercrime and digital safety, Mr. Yadav shared real-life case studies, highlighted common scams, and offered actionable strategies to safeguard personal and financial information online.
The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation, especially during the open-floor Q&A, where attendees had the rare opportunity to engage directly with one of India’s leading cyber experts.
The evening concluded with light refreshments and networking, leaving participants more informed, alert, and digitally empowered.
This workshop reflects USCA’s continued commitment to hosting meaningful events that enrich and protect our community.
Guru Nanak Jayanti Celebration at Radio Club - 15th November 2024
On 15th November 2024, the United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) proudly hosted a soulful Guru Nanak Jayanti celebration at Radio Club Pier. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the teachings and legacy of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, bringing the Sindhi community together in devotion and unity.
The morning began with a spiritually uplifting Prabhat Pheri, as the sounds of shabads and chants filled the air, creating an atmosphere of peace and reverence. This was followed by soul-stirring Kirtan performed by dedicated Raagis, leaving the sangat deeply moved and inspired.
The celebrations concluded with a Langar—a traditional community meal served with love and humility—bringing everyone together in the true spirit of seva and equality.
The overwhelming participation and heartfelt blessings made this event a resounding success. We extend our deepest gratitude to all sewadharis, sponsors, donors, and community members who came forward to support and celebrate with us.

Teejri & Thadri Celebration: Keeping Traditions Alive - 21st August 2024
Our Teejri and Thadri celebration was held on Wednesday, 21st August 2024 at the C.K. Nayudu, CCI Club. It was a joyful evening where women came together to celebrate our Sindhi festivals with warmth, tradition, and lots of fun.
The evening began with the Teejri ritual, where women applied mehendi as part of the tradition and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. As part of the Thadri celebration, we also offered prayers to Shitala Mata, staying true to our customs and beliefs.
A Thadri food stall served delicious traditional items like Lola, Nankhatai, and Achar, which everyone enjoyed. The highlight of the evening was the live band playing popular songs, while women danced and celebrated with joy. The event was set during high tea, adding to the relaxed and cheerful vibe.
With everyone dressed in lovely shades of red and green, the evening was filled with smiles, music, and meaningful moments—a beautiful way to honour our culture and traditions together. United Sindhi Cultural Association Launches with a Bang - 10th August 2024
The United Sindhi Cultural Association (USCA) made its debut on 10th August 2024 with a vibrant and memorable evening at Flamboyante, Cuffe Parade—bringing together culture, creativity, and community.
The evening began with celebrated chef Vicky Ratnani, who took the audience on a delightful journey through the evolution of Sindhi cuisine, blending tradition with modern flair in a way only he can.
This was followed by an engaging intergenerational conversation between renowned calligraphy artist Sanjana Chatlani and respected community elder Shakun Kimatrai. Their heartwarming dialogue reflected on creativity, heritage, and the importance of keeping Sindhi culture alive through meaningful connections.
The evening was anchored by Pooja Vir, who held the speakers and the audience in rapt attention with her engaging interaction.The event was a vibrant celebration of Sindhi culture, attracting a large gathering of influential Sindhis from across the city.
The grand finale of the evening was a side-splitting stand-up performance by the one and only Atul Khatri, who had the entire audience roaring with laughter. His sharp wit and relatable humor provided the perfect end to an unforgettable evening.
It wasn’t just a launch—it was a celebration of who we are and a powerful first step in our mission to preserve, promote, and reimagine Sindhi culture for the future.
